Spots, Stripes, and a Broken Handle

Our first double lesson of media and our teacher decides to let us out with cameras and tripods in hand; so, with little knowledge and training we were released. Our task was to replicate the list of 10 basic shots Ma'am had given us with a few prompts as to what we could do. This is where it all went down hill.
Over the next hour and a half, myself and a couple of companions ran wild around the school. We soon learned that our camera skills left something to be desired, but still thought it would be a great idea to make a short film. A few fake slaps, a dented door, and a torture scene later we were done and nothing (much) had gone wrong...yet.
Whilst setting down our equipment, Josh and Josh (aka Spots and Stripes), were tempting to scroll down the foot of the tripod when I heard a large crack and watched as a tumbling Stripes fumbled across the room. The handle had snapped clean off! We soon learned that our violation of school property wasn't actually our fault, but it still wasn't the best start to A-Level Media.
When we uploaded our footage we found that the majority of it had turned an unpleasant cerise pink and the rest was a storm of shaky camera work and sketchy panning.
If I were to do it again there would be many things I should change, but won't because to be honest it was perfect the way it is.
